Short fitted sweater knitted in fine alpaca-wool yarn.
It’s beautifully detailed with plackets with buttons at the neck and on the cuffs.
The pattern is composed of traditional Faroese women’s sweater motifs in both horizontal and vertical panels.

The idea for this design came from Tailor Debes’s tale of a Faroese woman ahead of her time. She didn’t walk to church services, but rather arrived on horseback. She also wove and crafted suspenders and stocking bands for export to “foreign lands”
